Grey hairs

    Stroking Sam this morning and noticed just a few tiny grey hairs on his muzzle :eek: :eek:
    They are only visible when I look closely, but blimey, he is only three years old ;)

    Hi Kate,

    There are a couple of black labs around here that Harvey and I meet on our walks. They both have grey muzzle hair, one is 9 but the other is only 2!

    They really vary in how fast they go grey... I'm sure Sam will pull off the distinguished look very well :)

    I think it shows more on black labs, but I've seen grey hairs on a friends golden lab and she is only 2!

    Or it could be Millie turning him grey overnight ;)

    Sam is the only black Lab I have owned so I guess yes, it shows up more and I quite like the distinquished look myself :)

    Rileys got quite a few on his chinny chin chin. They're both three aren't they? They can look distinguished together and harumph at small puppies ;D

    Scott and scout are three. Scouts chin and muzzle are speckled with grey. Scotts isn't.

    My old lab also started to go grey at about three. :)

    Poppy says she's not going to go grey. It's easier when you are blonde... ;)

    Meg says the same as Poppy. Think that's why people don't believe her age because she's got no grey at all, not like her mum :)

    I agree with Poppy. and it's even easier when you can just pop into the salon and come out blonde! ;D
