Look forward to hearing all about it! Benson really enjoyed his session, I think our trainer made things really interesting for Benson :) :)

So Max and I went to see Geoff Shore yesterday.

Lovely man. Lots of very informative and helpful advice and with a beautifully trained Labrador named Jake :)

Max was brilliant although he did almost run off on the way back to the car - furthest he's ever been away from me to date! - but thankfully he came back when I called him lol.

We have a lot of tips to work on and Geoff made me feel a lot better about the whole training issue. I'm very aware that I have this brilliant little dog with excellent heritage and am terrified of ruining him! Bit more relaxed now :)

Well worth the money and I would highly recommend him.

Glad you both enjoyed it! Geoff is a very patient trainer, we learned so much, and Benson just loves working with Geoff! Think we have another lesson in a couple of weeks :)

She really does love retrieving Kate:) even being injured, she wants to retrieve so I have been doing blind retrieves rather than throwing the ball....she has loved it :) also, I've been walking off with her ball dropping it, walking off then releasing her. It has been challenging finding things to keep her busy that don't involve jumping or running. We started lead walking today so hopefully that will use some of her energy ::)
Geoff sounds like a really good gun dog trainer :) going to call him this week to have a chat :)
