Gypsy's trainer has sent me a photo of her at school - doesn't she look fabulous?! The flash on her lead says 'Guide Dog in training' - of course, she is no longer a puppy :)

Gypsy has free runs and long walks with her boarders in the evenings and at weekends. They take her to school in the morning and pick her up early evening. She is with her trainer during the day. It's a school day, with work time, rest time, play time, treat time, work time, rest time, play time etc. They have made the dogs a play area - and even provided a muddy puddle lol! The first photo shows her with Ibsen, who she was in puppy classes with from 10 weeks old :)

Good to see it's not all work, but plenty of play time and friends to play with! Tatze will have prepared her well for that. The twisty toys in the last photo look good (and tough!). Does anyone know what they are?

They're Kong Safestix. I got one for Jura, still trying to persuade her that it is more interesting than a real stick though!

I know it's a bit anthropomorphic - but she looks so pleased with herself, and fulfilled.

She's beginning to do what she was born for :) I really hope she makes it, all the signs are good.

Thanks. Might be worth trying, though I suspect real sticks will probably still be tempting!

Lovely! Ahh! I might have a look on their site. I have just signed up for their lottery and I am looking forward to winning £3,000. In the meantime, perhaps I can get a calendar as she is now famous!!
