Beautiful photos of two stunning girls. Always get a guide dog calendar so it will be extra special knowing it has Gypsy on. Trouble is I want the family organiser too to get a photo of Tatze too!

Great news - Gypsy is now in Advanced training. It won't be long now before she's matched with her new owner. These photos were sent by her boarders (where she stays evenings and weekends).

He said - "Gypsy's doing well, she's moved to advanced training now and we noticed last night how much more tired she was after a days training! She's still loving her walks with us on a weekend, especially when there is mud or water involved!!"

She looks very grown up now - and still has those distinctive eyebrows - and a very pink nose!

Aww she's so grown up! How exciting that she's moved onto the advanced training. It's so wonderful to think that she wouldn't be where she is today without the start that you gave her, you must be so proud ☺☺

Oh yes! Every day I hope for news, so when it comes my heart leaps. She looks so very grown up - but the same serious face!

I still don't have a photo of her in harness, but fingers crossed :)

This is a photo from Gypsy's school in Leeds.

"Here in Leeds we have both Early Training and Advanced Training dogs. When they're not out working the early training dogs 'live' in the office downstairs with Guide Dog Trainer Sue. Then, when they move into advanced training they move into the offices upstairs with the GDMIs.

Photo shows advanced training dogs Gypsy and Ibsen (both yellow Lab x GRs) in one office and Quanna (yellow GR), Lola (black Lab) and Hope (yellow Lab x GR) in the office next door all lined up looking out of the baby gate bars into the corridor!"

(GDMI means Guide Dog Mobility Instructor - Gypsy has had the same person as Early Trainer and GDMI, she will also train Gypsy with her owner when she's matched) Gypsy stays at a lovely couple's house for evenings and weekends and they bring her to school every day before work and pick her up after work. Ibsen was in the same puppy class as Gypsy, so they have known each other from 8 weeks old :)

Here is a link to the FaceBook page for Gypsy's school.
