Its Holly's fourth birthday today. I can't believe where the time has gone. It seems like last week when I could cradle her in one arm. We started her special day with an extra-long tummy rub on the bed. I presented her with one of my old slippers, the one that she keeps stealing. After a few minutes of running around shaking it we gave her a breakfast with a few "extras". When I went to work she was curled up in her bed with her head and a paw resting on her slipper.
Happy Birthday Holly! Wow, treats for breakfast AND an illicit slipper - sounds like you're in for a cracking day
Happy birthday, gorgeous girl! AT LAST dad has realised that slipper is Yours. Now....what about its pair....?
One of my colleagues at work as adopted Holly as her surrogate dog. She and partner both work so they can't have a dog, but she likes to treat Holly. This morning she brought in some home made people-and-dog-friendly breakfast bars. I'm under strict orders to take one home for Holly.
I gave her the on that was the least damaged. The other one, complete with tooth holes and a tear, went into the bin. I wonder how long it will be before she realises that I have some new slippers.....
Happy Birthday, Holly....from Cooper who is 2.5 years old. Have a wonderful day! Started out GREAT!!!
Holly says thank you for all your kind wishes. She's had a lovely day. Knowing that you all love puppy pictures she would like to share this picture with you. It was taken on the day she came home with her people.
