Re: HaPpY bIrThDaY LaDy!!! Poor lamb got attacked by a Lurcher on her evening walk. Some youths sitting on the footbridge with a completely unsocialised dog that just laid into her. Fortunately she's not hurt. Her approach to dogs is completely submissive but she had the sense not to do that with this dog and didn't roll over but kept standing trying to dodge away from it. In the end she figured she wasn't going to come out well from this and turned on the dog and went for it. The Lurcher than started bounding at me but ran off when I lunged at it with the lead. Checked her out and no damage, but the youths just sat and watched. Makes my blood boil.

Re: HaPpY bIrThDaY LaDy!!! She's just scoffed a tasty birthday supper and had a dental stick (her favorite treat). Now gone back to check out the bowl to make sure nothing missed! Seems none the worse for it. Now emptying her toy box to see if there's anything new in the bottom. ;D
Re: HaPpY bIrThDaY LaDy!!! I'm fuming for you and Lady too - completely unacceptable. If one more owner of a bullying dog tells me "he likes a play" I swear I'll hit the roof. My poor Charlie is starting to do the flat thing more and more.... Charlie sends Lady a big kiss and says it sounds like she was very brave.

Firstly HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR LADY, hope the sausage was the bestest present ever and secondly DAMN and BLAST the owners of the Lurcher for behaving in such an irresponsible way. I am very sorry this happened on your birthday of all days but well done for standing up for yourself, but try to remember Lady it's not the poor dogs fault is those useless owners.
