I was cuddly and stroking Hattie this morning and found another lump, this time near the top of her left leg. It feels like the one on her ribcage. Why didn't the vet find it? she examined her only a week ago. I don't like this at all, it's worrying :(:( xx

I do see why you’re worried -I’m sure I would be too and frustrated with the vet check. However some dogs do get lots of lumps as they get older which are harmless. My sister’s last LabX had numerous ones for a number of years that didn’t affect his health or length of life.
I hope the vet can reassure you or do more tests if needed.

Like @Joy, I can understand why you are worried, but my GSPs had loads of lipomas and my 11 year old Lab was beginning to develop a couple before he died and I hasten to add he didn't die from the lumps. To put your mind at rest, phone tomorrow morning for an appointment at the vet.

Definitely get hold of the vet but if it feels the same, I'm sure it's the same thing, just a lipoma.

My friends had a Lab x Doberman (a doberdor?! :D ) who was covered in lumps and bumps. He lived until he was 21.

It's only natural that you're worried, any of us would be, but try not to let your mind go into overdrive. x

Oh no @charlie :( so sorry to hear you've found another lump. Off to the vet tomorrow just to be sure but 99.99% certain it will be a lipoma again. Try not to worry (too much) , not worrying is impossible xx

Sorry to hear this Helen , but as others have said ,it is so common to have several fatty lumps in middle age , but definitely a case for the Vet . I know you will worry, so I wont say don't worry , just sending hugs xxx
