Hope Hattie and Poppy are both OK today and fairly back to normal.

Poppy is fine today thank you, with just a couple of small residual bumps on her head.

    Hattie too, I hope?

Glad Poppy is OK :) Hattie is absolutely fine too. A scary time as Hattie is not a dog to make a fuss about anything. Charlie on the otherhand would have milked that for all it's worth :D:)

    Thanks for everyone's concern xxx

Shoo, just read this now. I am glad all pups are okay. Poor things.

Years ago we were hiking with our first Lab, Ginger, when she got in to a Yellow Jacket nest right in the middle of the trail. They swarmed all over her and she just lay down. My wife ran back and pulled Ginger out by the collar and literally swept the Yellow Jackets off of Ginger with her hands. Ginger was stung many times on the face and ears, while Pat was only stung once. Ginger's face and ears swelled up, and took a few days to completely return to normal but she didn't suffer any other effects. She had to complete the hike to, since we were several miles away from our car.

Ginger, Tilly and Cooper all snap at Yellow Jackets, and do get them occasionally. I don't think they get stung when they bite them.
