Oh dear....sounds like the sofa needs to be off the agenda until the potty training is 100%
Is it fabric or leather type?
I'm not really sure what the answer is but I am guessing that simple solution may come into it somewhere along the line as a neutraliser, but depends on whether you can was your sofa covers/cushions.

He left doing this inside the home a long back but suddenly started again once he got back from dog hostel. Cant remove the sofa and it is of cushioned jute cloth.

Well you still might need to go back to basics if he has regressed after being away. To get hi securely dry.

Regarding the sofa, you will need to blot up as much as possible and then clean with simple solution, or failing that I think a 50:50 solution of water and white vinegar, really worked into the area, wetting it as much as is reasonable before dabbing it all up with a dry pale coloured towel. If there is a stain you can use baking soda/peroxide but I would be pretty careful with your sofa, I have never used the latter so can't really advise.

The ideal is to use some kind of speciality cleanser that removes both stain and odour. Here in Canada it is called Nature's Miracle but I think it is a different name elsewhere. Look for something that is specially formulated to deal with pet accidents which contains enzymes to break down the odour/stain causing material. This cleans it up perfectly with the added benefit of removing any faint scent that gives the dog the signal that the sofa is a bathroom place, I've used it on carpets, sofas, etc and not had any problems with it marking the furniture but you can test it in a small area first to make sure if you are worried.

And agreed, ultimately the solution is to get the dog peeing outside so sounds like a little refresher on toilet training needed.

Following an "accident" in the car, I used Vax upholstery cleaner, and when dry followed up with upholstery cleaning tissue. A squirt with the enzyme killer removed the scent, so she did not see it as a toilet point.
