I have a heeler lab mix. 8 months old and 47 pounds. But she has yet to have a heat cycle, should i be worried? Like shes had no signs. I know for labs their heat cycles can come very late in life, but the heeler side i dont know about. I do 100% plan on spaying her. But the vet and i chose to wait til after her heat to spay for a couple reasons. 1 of which is that she has a recessed vagina.

Hi there Ambri and welcome to the forum :). It's quite normal for an 8 month old not to have had a heat yet. It could be any time now or during the next few months. Some female dogs don't have their first season until after their first birthday. So nothing to worry about
