Hello All, Im Sharvari from Mumbai and a new parent to a beautiful Lab male puppy named Whiskey. He is 8 weeks old and came to me 15 days back. Hes a bundle of cuddles and mischief and we love him to bits. Hes brought about a good positive mood in the house and I look forward to fun filled day everyday. Im a first time dog parent and looking forward to sharing experiences and advices from all you lovely people. Cheers!
Hello @sharvani and a warm welcome to the forum from the Beanwood pack, Benson, Bramble and Casper Whilst we appreciate your puppy is now 8 weeks old, it is worth a note that the forum does not agree with bringing puppies home at under 8 weeks old. We understand this is the practice in some countries, however, this has been shown to be detrimental to the wellbeing of the puppy, to be taken away from its mother and siblings at such a young age.

Dear Beanwood pack, Benson, Bramble and Casper, Thanks and appreciate your advise. Being a new parent I'm not aware of this and was made to understand here that it was ok to bring him home after 40 days. Now understood, i will encourage friends to only bring these cuddly babies at or post 8 weeks.
