Hi. This is the first time I have posted. My name is Rosie and I have a working lab
He is two and has been described as honest by my trainer.

The problem is that he spins on memory marks and blind retrieves I try to stop him and get him back before he picks the mark usually he keeps going spinning occasionally.
I shout No when he spins and cheer when he doesn’t and make a fuss

. Today I had three dummies in a row under three white posts. I stood 40m away and directed him back. Most times he span. How do I stop the spinning?

I have been told a dog spins because he is confused but I can’t make tasks much easier. Any one got any ideas? I am stuck ……

Go back to simple marks only for a while to break the habit, then move on to short memories using white dummies. I'd do nothing else for a month to try to break the habit. Also, avoid spinning in other situations; don't let him come around the back of your legs to come into heel, don't let him turn around during set up etc.
