I'm new here. Life long lab lover and dog owner. I had a lab mix years ago. We got Otis when he was 8 weeks in early 2018. His father was a show/English and mom was a field/American lab. Both have papers and no shoulder issue history. He'll be 2 in January and he weighs about 80 pounds.. I'm a member of several face book dog groups but thought I'd seek out an official discussion board to share stories, training methods, diets etc etc. Luckily, I work from home so I have plenty of time to play and work with Otis. We also have an older rescue mix named Gilda, who is just the quietest sweetest most timid pup I've ever met. She is about 11 or 12 and is about 40 lbs. We've had here for about 8 years. We go to a park two blocks from our home most days. It has a nice lake for swimming, little dirty, but I hose them off when we get home. Anyway, just wanted to say hello. Looking forward to sharing and learning from others here.
