It's a REALLY, REALLY high cupboard, ok?

    ;)

If Obi gets his pink dress out you'll all be the first to see it. After me that is.

Come on guys....we've got to have a 'Dogs Dressed Up For Christmas Thread' ....if memory serves me right did Sophie and Lilly win Halloween?
I've got high hopes for Christmas winners with Annabelle with Barley and Puzzle....
I have a few options for Dexter, although DISDAIN is the word I would chose if asked to describe his face when he's seen certain items appear....
Heidrun,I bet you are all over this idea of mine aren't you! X ;D

Can I confess I was wandering around Matalan today thinking - wonder if that fairy outfit would fit on Lilly?
I am SUCH a BAD fur mum ;D
Be relieved, I didn't buy one.......I wasn't giving in to temptation (and the one I really liked didn't have a stretchy top which would have been best ;) )

It's ok, Lisa, even serious people like Heidrun have clothes for dogs - they are just green, that's all.

Charlie would go nuts in a mad frenzy of ripping and chewing if I tried to put anything on him though. He won't wear his dressing gown. And he finally won the battle of wills over the his back fastening harness yesterday.

Obi, on the other hand, would love a pink ball gown. I think Debbie Harry had one...

Lily looked amazing at Halloween. I'm playing, but just for fun. I won't get much on Charlie. I'll try though.

Lovely dogs. They remind me a little bit of Hungarian vizslas which are my second favorite breed,

    one day.... one day...

Hungarian Vizsla and their wire-coated cousins are HPR (Hunt/Point/Retrieve) dogs just as my German Wirehaired Pointers were so they do share a lot in common :)

I was sorely tempted by wire haired vizslas to be my next dog but the GSP just swung it lol

Judging by the ones I've met they are cracking dogs but none of the HPR's beat a GSP for being a biddable personality (even though I've never had one myself)

German Wirehaired Pointers have a reputation here (in Germany) for being very tough dogs - and not easy to train. The only truly dangerous dog I know around here is a GWP; I think the problem is, he is not used for hunting and doesnt have enough to do, so he is bored and has now become aggressive to other dogs. He also hunts local wildlife (has killed a couple of deer) so cannot be let off the lead. He's a nightmare - though his owners are of course to blame. :( He even tries to bite little Poppy - she is terrified of him.

What a shame, poor dog. I found GWPs to be stubborn, brave and really rather selfish but with a work ethic I have not seen bettered in any other dog. Certainly not for the inactive pet home. Mine did agility, obedience, some deer stalking as well as being shot over and they just plain and simple never get too tired to work Loved 'em but my life now is too sedentary for their wellbeing so no more Wiries for me.

My Lab, DexD4DivaDog is almost the complete opposite being kind, willing and affectionate .... a real breath of fresh air - I'm smitten :)
