We will be getting our new baby Sammy a yellow lab, well more like a cream color in 2 weeks. We currently have a 17 year old Ragdoll cat. We are so excited we just can't wait. Oh by the way by the end of the September we will also be welcoming Scarlett a Maine Coon cat. We will have our hands full but we love it.

I have a 4 month old yellow female (Daisy), a 14 year old yellow female (Molly), a 3.5 year old Golden/Border Collie mix (Henry), two housecats, one barn cat, two horses, and one husband! The puppy takes the most attention (though the husband is a close second ) and is a joy to have around (well, most of the time). You'll enjoy the forum and finds lots of good advice and training tips. Take advantage of it all! The books by Pippa are really worth their weight, so don't hesitate to buy them (I do not get a cut!). What's your setting like? City yard and neighborhood or more rural? Where will you be able to take Sammy when he's old enough for outings?
