Re: Hello from France It was a bit humid on our hike so once back home he was straight into his little pool. He knows where to go to cool down. He has the 'ah that feels good' look on his face. After a quick towel off he was up to the balcony for a siesta.
Re: Hello from France I know your area quite well - my sister used to live in the Lot, between Aurillac and Figeac.
Re: Hello from France Hi and welcome! I live in western Canada with my two-yr old Lab/NewfieX, named Simba. Luka is beautiful! If you get a chance some day do post some pics on the "my walk" thread, it's so fun to see everyone's gorgeous scenery!

Re: Hello from France Hi Laura, welcome to the forum! I like the look of Luka's paddling pool, very sturdy!
Re: Hello from France Welcome to the Forum. We are about to decamp to France for a 2 month sojourn. Luka is a huge dog at 39 kgs and 14 months are you sure the figures are correct? Roger
Re: Hello from France Just looked at photos. His colour is so similar to meg except she's got pink nose. He is certainly a handsome boy.
Re: Hello from France Hello and a warm welcome from me and my two dogs Sam and Millie , I lived in France for 10 years , so I know about the heat , hope you enjoy the forum ;D
Re: Hello from France Yes the figures are correct he 39 kgs and will be 15 months old on 5 august. The vet says he is a large lab and is very fit. When I got him at 8 weeks he was 6 kgs and had huge paws. Everyone commented on how big they were. His 'small' stage didn't last too long unfortunately, he grew fast. His parents are large as well. I was happy when the 4 month period was over so he could walk on the ground and I no longer had to carry him everywhere, he was heavy!!
Re: Hello from France I bought Lukas pool at the local agricultural store. It's not too high and is thick rubber so can withstand his paddling/digging on the bottom! It's full of rain water as that seems to be happening more than the sun shining unfortunately.
