Hi All I'm John from the East Midlands, I'm a 56 year old married man who has been a dog owner before but have just picked up our 8 week old Golden Labrador pup Henry. I have owned Collies and a Lurcher in the past and fell in love with Labs after dog sitting an 18 month old for a fortnight. Henry has a fantastic personality and my wife and I are already head over heels in love with him. The reality of an 8 week old pup has been as life changing as expected and I have not been so sleep deprived since my children were new babies. 'Monster' as we call him at times is currently sleeping in his bed in his most angelic andrex puppy pose. But will wake up about 11pm and will need to visit the garden before real bed time, hopefully he'll sleep through until after 5 am tonight.

Boy I remember those sleepless nights ....2 hours here....3 hours there ........someday you will be saying ....ahhh......I miss those puppy days......so for now ..ENJOY !!
