Hi everyone my name is Sharon and I have yellow labs. Valkyrie will be 2yrs old on April 23rd. He is from a breeding we did with my son lab ATEM and my sisters bitch Prada. Both parents are titled in hunt but Valkyrie will be making his mark in Dock Jumping and Agility this year. Legend is 7mo lab pup. I am hoping that he will do well in hunt and possibly field trails and the show ring. He is very smart and a looker too. We are doing our first obedience class and he is a head of most of the dogs in the class. Our only problem is he is a foodaholic. OMG he goes nuts for food!!! I do have 4 other dogs too I am an artist, have a radio show with my sister and teach Anishinaabe culture at our local school here is beautiful Northern Minnesota.
Welcome Sharon and your pack from me and Xena in Wellington, NZ. I'd love to hear some more about dock jumping if you decide to stick around, it's great to hear about the different stuff people do with their dogs! I've watched shows about it on Animal Planet, but it's not an organised sport here. It sounds like you lead a very busy life!
Hi and welcome from me and 4 year old girl, Harley. We also do agility, but not competing as I'm not that brave . What breed are your other dogs?
Hi Sharon, welcome to the Forum from myself and Cassie who is the same age as your Valkyrie, almost to the day. Sounds like you lead a full and varied life.
Welcome to you from Mags, Tatze and Keir from Manchester UK Tatze is my pet dog, a black Lab and she's four years old. Tatze means 'paw' in German. Keir is my fifth Guide Dog puppy, a yellow Golden Retriever/Flatcoat cross and he's eight months old.
Redemption is a boxer-cross. Ashij is a german shepherd, Wasse is a golden/cross and BaWaaJige is my pure bred Golden Retriever. All but Ashij are therapy dogs Ashij doesn't like to leave the property.
Welcome from me and Lilly. Very unusual names. Is there a link to the Culture you mention? Not something I have ever heard of. Jac
