Hi there, my husband and I are the proud new parents of Samantha. She is our second lab (had the first for 16 years) and we are hopelessly in love already. She has been almost too easy so far. Sleeps through the night 10p-6a in her crate with no whining unless she needs to go potty. Our best investment so far has been the puppy playpen from Amazon. She has a place of her own in the family room and seems to entertain herself a fair bit. We also keep her crate in the playpen and she will go into the crate when she is ready to nap or she will nap on one of her beds.
Re: Hello from me and Samantha Welcome! What a cutie! I can't really tell from the photo, is she black or a dark choccy?
Re: Hello from me and Samantha Hi, and welcome from Holly and me in Wales, UK. Samantha looks lovely. I hope that you have many happy years together.

Re: Hello from me and Samantha Thank you all. With the exception of some issues with food, which we are working through with our vet, she is so far the perfect dog. She is Dark Chocolate and the sweetest little thing when she is not trying to eat us. (yes, we are in the crocodog stage).
Re: Hello from me and Samantha Welcome to you all ,Samantha is a cutie, love her name! She sounds like a really great puppy. I have Dexter he's 2.5 years old and out first dog Best wishes Angela

Re: Hello from me and Samantha
She looks lovely. Is that a soft crate that she's in?
She is actually in a a pet playpen. Our best investment so far. It is 5 foot across and she has her own "area". This allows us to have her around the family and yet she does not have free run of the house. All her toys and her crate are in there. So far she seems to know how to entertain herself and goes into the crate when she is tired. Minimum amount of whining so far. ;D Here is the link if anyone is interested: http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NF1ZASI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
