We had a black lab who left this earth 10 years ago. We never thought we'd get another dog. Being empty nesters we thought it would be difficult with travel, work and such. Well, we now are the proud, tired, parents of a cute little chocolate lab. She is 11 weeks old and full of energy. I forgot how much they play, bite, chew, pee ..... Her name is Lacey
Welcome to the forum! Lacey sounds a very normal lab puppy! It's so easy to forget the trials of those early puppy days, even if labs don't really seem to grow up until they're three (or more!). Do post some photos.
Welcome to the forum Puppies are a bit of a shock to the system, aren't they! Lacey is a lovely name.
Welcome to you, enjoy your new bundle of fun! I'm Mags and Tatze is my pet dog, a black Lab, she's four years old. Tatze means 'paw' in German. Mollie is my fourth Guide Dog puppy, a black Lab who is nine months old. We live near Manchester, UK. .
Hi from me (Mickey) and Bucky! The first few weeks are a little exhausting! I also forgot how much can come out of such a little pup! We are at 8 months now and he does have occasional accidents but my entire floor isn't covered in Pee Pads anymore. The chewing and the energy though is endless!!! Can't wait to see your Lacey!
Hi and welcome to you both. If you look in the technical section of the forum it explains how to add photos. You will need a host like Flickr or photo bucket.
Best avoid Photobucket - they're not allowing third-party hosting anymore. I used Imgur initially, and it was fine.
Hello @Mary Lily & young Lacey, welcome to the forum from Coco & me on the Isle of Man. I've never had a puppy, I can only imagine the horror you will go through
