Hi All, I've been reading through the site for a couple months now and there is a lot of great info so now that our pup is home I thought it would be good to join the forums so I can ask questions. To the important stuff.....meet Recon(profile pic, I can't seem to find the add picture function)...he's our new chocolate lab pup. He is full of energy and yet loves to be held and cuddled. The breeder did a great job socializing him, he loves meeting new people and playing with the neighborhood kids!! The wife and I had dogs in the family as kids growing up but this is our first family dog. Our 8 yr old son is over the top excited about the new addition as well. Our 2 cats aren't as excited about it but they are already pretty much just ignoring him.

Hi, I've been on the forum since last August, I have Cassie who is just about 12 months now. Hard to believe how quick the last 1o months have gone!. This certainly a great place for advice and support. That's great for your son to have a puppy.
Hi and welcome from me and my two, Lucan 7yr old and Ash 17wks. We also have a cat, well 8mth old kitten, she took to our pup right away. Mind you I do believe she thinks she's another dog, she's often seen play fighting and chasing them!
