Hello all, new here but been reading and getting valuable information for awhile now. Myles is my boy, a big boy at 19 week 40+lbs :. He's a chocolate English (ok that's what we call them here in the US, but on here is will appropriately refer to him as show line). I only specify because it seems as many of our challenges compared to my last very biddable field lab are due to the show vs field temperament. He's adorable but stubborn as all get out! Anyway just saying hi and looking forward to joining in on the discussions. Everyone is so friendly and helpful! Here is Myles!

Does he get problems with his eyes with them being a bit droopy? I know JulieT's Charlie (also a choccy show type) had slightly droopy eyes when he was younger, but they sorted themselves out as he got older. He still has a good bit of puppy look about him, too. He's gorgeous My two are eight and a half months, working line and around 18kg, which my converter says is just under 40lb. According to the chart that Rosie put together, that makes them pretty small for the breed, but I think they're perfectly proportioned, obviously Welcome to the forum from the three of us.
Re: Hello from Myles and I Thanks everyone! Hi Snowbunny... no issues with his eyes, I do hope they stay droopy! Unless it would cause some problems. I'm a sucker for the sad eyes That sweet face is also the face I get when he refuses to obey :! Good to meet everyone!
Re: Hello from Myles and I Hi from me and Juno, a 10 month old chocolate girl, who being French is from a mix of show and field lines. Myles is gorgeous - I'm not letting Juno see his photo otherwise she'll want to come and see him to make friends.
