Hi everyone. Found this forum when searching raw diets for puppies. I already have my 7yo on raw but didn't know how well a puppy would tolerate it. I slowly introduced some with each meal and so far she's doing well. Looking forward to reading the forum, it looks really helpful! My pup's name is Izzy and now 13 weeks. My only issue WAS getting my older dog to accept her, now I can barely stop them from playing! I'm developing a schedule/plan to train her off site and away from her older brother once her vaccines are complete. I hate missing this special window in socializing her with other dogs but her safety is priority.
Hi Nancy and Izzy, welcome to the forum I'm glad Izzy and her big brother are getting on so well! Lots of people wean their puppies directly onto raw food these days, so age isn't a limit from transitioning a puppy onto a raw diet - but it sounds like you have that all under control now! Good luck with your socialization schedule (great idea!) and all your adventures to come!
