Hi, just wanted to say hello. I'm getting a guide dog pup next week. I've never had a dog before, but I'll be getting masses of help from the training supervisor. The puppy is a black lab/retriever cross female. Her name is Dawn and apparently her name is sponsored. I'm busy reading the Happy Puppy handbook, fitting baby gates, trying not to buy too many toys, and praying the cats won't leave home. I'm sure they are wondering why a new bed with cosy vetbed has arrived in the house!

Welcome from another puppy walker, pet Lab Tatze and 2nd puppy Twiglet! It's the best job in the world!!

(It comes with total heartbreak when they leave you, but they go on to such a happy fulfilling life - and you are soon busy with the next one! )
I have had some lovely photos of Gypsy today and will be putting them on her blog asap.

Here are Gypsy and Twiglet's blogs. We went to Twiglet's first puppy class at Atherton today - so she's having a looong snooze now!

    :)

Thank you for your welcomes. I go to a knitting club on Mondays, today all the talk was of puppies as someone else has just got a pup. It made such a change from talking about baybees!

Welcome Lorna, and we are all looking forward to seeing photos of Dawn and getting to know her.

All we talk about on here are puppies and dogs. We'd be happy to hear a bit about babies and knitting patterns for a change!!! ;)
