Hi All, my husband and I will be getting a new puppy in a few weeks. We are both excited and nervous at the same time, primarily since we have never raised a puppy before. He will be a yellow lab. We are still deciding on a name for him and have a few things in mind. I will post a picture when we finally pick him up, hopefully by the end of April.

It isn't all roses to begin with, but well worth it as they all turn out to be such a pleasure and you will wonder how you lived without a dog Pippa Mattinson has written a very helpful book called "How to Have a Happy Puppy" you can get it on Amazon. It answers any problem!

Hi and welcome from me and 3 year old red girl, Harley. She was my first ever dog and even though I researched a lot, there was so much I didn't know. I really recommend Pippa's book as stated above. I wish it was out before I got Harley because I would of done a few things differently such as lead walking from day 1 and crate training properly. Look forward to seeing some pics.

Hi All. We will be picking up our puppy on 4/29. We (I am at least) are getting very excited. We are still thinking of names for him and have a couple in mind. Still don't have any pictures, but will hopefully get some good ones once we bring him home . These last few days before we get him will be hard, like a kid waiting for Christmas morning.
