Hello everyone from Pennsylvania. We will be bringing our new female black lab pup "Scout" home next Tuesday. This will be our first lab. I have two daughters (ages 10 & 8) who are beyond excited. I will try to get some pictures up if I can figure it out. Hopefully they don't show up either huge or tiny HAHA. We are very lucky in that our breeder lives very close and we have been able to visit with her a few times before bringing her home. She will be 7 1/2 weeks when we bring her home. I've been pouring over the website for a few weeks now and have found tons of info. I look forward to using this forum for answers to many questions that will undoubtedly arise.

Whenever I hear Scout I think of To Kill A Mocking Bird, it's a text I have taught a lot in the UK (sadly, it's not on the curriculum now :'(). It's very exciting bringing your puppy home and I hope it all goes really well for you. Scout looks really lovely! Take lots of photos!

I am afraid I can't answer the question about the Happy Puppy Handbook, but I would be surprised if it wasn't available :-\ It really is worth getting though!
