Hi, Thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Paul from Warrington, Cheshire. We brought home our Fox Red Labrador 'Bailey' yesterday. He has settled in well, and seems to be coping with the stresses of leaving his mum, brothers and sisters. Bailey is our first Labrador after owning Weimaraners in the past. We lost our Weimaraner Zak just over 12 months ago and decided the time was right to have another four legged friend in our life. I'll no doubt have lots of questions and queries that I will be posting on the site.
He's settling in well thanks. He's had a few accidents inside but done most of toileting outside, he's eating well and playing nicely so far. Just whined a lot over night last night so hopefully tonight will be better. It's out first family dog; I have a 5 year old and a 3 year old (and a husband) so busy, but fun, times for us all
Bailey has done brilliantly. Think we've had two accidents in the house so far. He settled well last night. Started to whine about 23:55. But my wife got up and let him out to go the toilet. He settled back down in his crate until 06:15 this morning. He is playing well, but just picking bits from his food. We aren't worried as we feel he is more relaxed at feed time because he doesn't have to compete for his food. He's drinking plenty.
That's great, especially with his sleep. Well done Bailey. Hoping Loki can do the same tonight. Still my 3 year old was a terrible sleeper for 2 years so nothing will ever compare to that
Hello to you Paul & Bailey, welcome from Coco & me on the Isle of Man. He's doing brilliantly so far.. look forward to seeing some pictures - hint hint.
Welcome Paul and Bailey from me and my great big boy Pongo in south Wales. I remember those puppy days! Enjoy them, and feel free to ask anything and everything here.... this forum saved my sanity on more than one occasion!
Hi and welcome from me and 3 year old girl, Harley. She is my first ever dog and this forum really helped me through everything.
