We have a beautiful Lady Black Labrador named Tinker Bell. She is just finishing her first heat period at eleven months of age. We are trying to decide when to have her spayed as we do not intend to breed her. We'd like to wait a bit for more growth and maturing. My question is: approximately when can we expect the next heat period to be? She weighs 50 pounds, is a healthy slim lady with high energy.
