Hi everybody, my name is Alex. My husband and I are adopting a cute Labrador puppy at the end of May. We have had contact with our breeder since December and visited her even before her Stella was pregnant and last week the little sweeties were born. We are so excited and are reading books and try to get as much information as we can since this will be our first dog ever. I'm very grateful for Forums and resources like this. I'm looking forward to nice chats and hopefully some help when we get overwhelmed with our new family member.
Hi Alex, welcome to the forum! Congratulations on your new puppy, it sounds like you've had a very patient wait to get to this point! We can't wait to hear more about your pup when you bring them home. Do you know if you're getting a girl or a boy yet?
No not yet, we are visiting there on Saturday to see them life for the first time and pick. We are going to see what our gut instinct and our breeder tells us. We don't think that gender makes that much of a difference to us. It's going to be difficult because they are all so fuzzy and cute but we guess after a lot of watching and cuddling (YAY!) one will stand out to us.
