Hello and welcome from me, Wispa (6) and Tuppence (4). Getting a new puppy is very exciting! Just make sure that you have somewhere cosy and safe for Rocket to have a rest, particulalry when he’s over-excited. Young children and puppies are a lovely mixture, but need a bit of careful handling to make sure they don’t wind each other up!

Hi and welcome from me and 4 year old girl, Harley. Puppies and kids are hard work, but so worth the struggle. When I worked with children Harley would often come to work with me and she was always so gentle and calm when around them. She’s also really good with my nieces and nephews, but I was strict with them from day 1 around what to do and what not to do. Teaching them to stand like a tree and not looking at Harley if she was being hyper really helped teach her that being calm = attention.

 

Hi Hugo's Mum. Wow, how lovely to have your boy home with you and so reassuring to hear it has been a positive and wonderful 'falling in love' time. Enjoy those precious puppy times!
