Hello and welcome, I'm in Fife so not too far away. I'm a relatively new member and have had loads of brilliant advice from the forum.

Welcome from me and 2 year old fox red girl, Harley. She's my first ever dog. Always wanted one but used to work silly hours.

Thank you all for the information on the uploading of pictures. I will tackle that and see if I can get it sorted, typical man I never read the instructions!!

Also thank you for the welcome messages. I am busy getting everything in place for the new arrival indoors and out in the garden.

I know Paderborn quite well as visited a few times during my time in BAOR, good Christmas Market as I remember?

Brodie has been with us for one week today. He has settled in very well and is learning the basics quite quickly. I just wish it would stop raining so that I can spend more time with him in the garden but unfortunately it is like a bog at the moment!

Start puppy clases on the 1 February which I am looking forward to. I have been using a puppy carry pouch to get him out and about whilst we wait for the second set of jabs. He has already made lots of friends in the village and looks as if he will be a very sociable young man. When time allows I will get a couple of pictures up.

Lovely to hear that Brodie is settling in well and enjoying his early socialisation in the village.

It must stop raining soon, hopefully before we all develop webbed feet

So happy to hear things are going so well. Long may that continue!
It sounds like you are doing a great socialisation job. No one can resist the allure of a puppy :)

Thank you all for your responses. Yes Brodie is becoming a bit of a personality down the village High Street, what was a ten minute walk is currently taking 30 minutes! Still as you say great for his socialisation.

Another adventure tomorrow when I take him into Perth City Centre which will be much busier, if he sticks to current form we should be OK. I will put a newer picture in the avatar box as an interim update.

Train stations, bus stations are all great for socialisation. Not forgetting people in uniforms, hats, sirens oh and umbrellas (we weren't sure of umbrellas when we first saw one

Uh Rosemary, no shortage of Umbrellas I am sure - Brodie lives up here in Scotland.
Now people wearing sunglasses may be another matter........

I know, just though as Brodie is little he may not be out and about if it's raining :). We all avoid the rain if we can :D. Dark glasses - now those I hadn't thought of but then I thought I had covered all types of hats with Juno but it seems I missed out on large floppy hats
