Hello from Pennsylvania! I am looking for a reputable breeder who breeds responsibly, including hip, elbow, eye, and other recommended tests for labs. I would like to purchase an English type over an American, because I am not seeking a "gun dog" but a companion animal. I would prefer a breeder who produces black labs, but any will do since the personality of a lab will not depend on the color, but instead the bred temperament. I have done some research, but have gotten confused over which breeders are sound operations, and who isn't. Thank you for your help in advance!
