Hello everyone. I've recently adopted Bobby, a large unknown mixed breed pup. He was 4 months old when he arrived just over 3 weeks ago. He came from a Romanian shelter so I had very little information about him before he arrived but, happily, he seems to be a pretty normal bouncy pup! He's my first dog although I've occasionally dog-sat in the past (enough to know that a poorly trained dog is an awful lot less fun than a well trained one) so I've got a lot to learn about training him. I've been looking at thehappypuppysite from where I found this forum. I think Bobby is unlikely to have any lab in him, his face is kind of terrier-ish and his body is maybe a bit lurcher-ish (or maybe it's just that he's still underweight despite the amount of food he's been putting away since he arrived) but it does say everyone's welcome! So far we've been practicing sitting instead of jumping up and he's at the stage where he *often* remembers to sit so we've got a long way to go yet. Looking forward to reading the forum, ~ Annie
Hi @Annie&Bobby, welcome to the forum, from myself and Cassie who is 18 months black lab. It's such a great place to learn about dog training. Bobby sounds lovely, my son's collie is called Bobby.
Welcome Annie & Bobby from Hattie 10 years and our rescue boy Charlie 6 years. How lovely that you have rescued Bobby from Romania. We would really love to see some photo's. Good luck with your training. xx
Welcome from me & my crossbreed, Coco - German Shepherd x Lab. I'm really hoping you can manage to post some pictures of Bobby, he sounds adorable,
I've been trying to work out how to post photos from my phone with no luck so far. I tried putting some in a Facebook album but I can't find how to get the url.
Welcome from Holly and me in Monmouth. I struggle to get things from my phone too. Its easier to stick the picture on Flickr and paste the BBcode.
