We have a nine week old golden retriever ( similiar mentality to a lab, clever but totally daft too). His name is Brian, wears a red collar and is registered at the vet as Brian Clough. Hubby is a forest fan !! He is our second goldie, Morse died aged 15, 3 years ago. I had forgotten how hard work puppies are . Saying that he is a lovely little fella ,is learning quickly and worth every second of the hard work x
Hi Simone. Brian looks a lovely little guy from your avatar. Puppies can be a bit of a shock. We'd forgotten how much attention they need before we got Holly. The first few weeks were exhausting, but things got a easier once she was toilet trained. I hope that you and Brian have a long and happy life together and look forward to seeing some pictures of him - we love our puppy pictures on this forum
Hello there! Harriet here, with young Kipper who's 16 weeks old and a little corker We've had him from just over 7 weeks old and as he is our first puppy we're just getting over the shellshock. But he's simply outstanding and I've had a lot of help already from Pippa's books and this forum, so thank you all for your posts!
Welcome from Joy, black lab,8 months old and me in West Yorkshire, I had also forgotten what hard work a puppy is but Joy is now very much living up to her name and has been for several months. Looking back, the difficult times didn't really last so long.
