    Hi

I'm new here, just acquired my first Lab - Bella (a chocolate), who is 8 months old. As you can imagine, never a good thing to read the problem period is 8-12 months on this site and that chocolate labs tend to be more tricky to train than yellow / black ones ! So thanks for that - got me scared already.

Welcome to the forum. It's a really good place for chat and good advice. Make the most of the puppy bit. They are actually great fun when younger. My black Lab lady seems to have suddenly gone sensible at 3 (although I took my eye off the ball last night and she ate my salad that I'd just put down on a side table - doh!)

Welcome from me, Bones and Poppy too! Why did you get Bella at 8 months, is she a rescue dog? Looking forward to seeing some photos!

Hello from me and my pup Digby :)
Love the name Bella. When I got Digby, a dog experienced friend told us to choose a name with 2 syllables as it works best for shouting over fields, or in front of one word commands. Dunno if its true but we took the advice anyway.
