Hello everyone.. new to the site so 'Hello'. So am after any insights, thoughts, advice for our 3 yo chocolate Lab girl Mia. We got Mia only 6 months ago from a family who no longer wanted her - during her first 2.5 years with the other family, she was kept outside - she was never allowed in the home and was not house trained - we took her in November and dealt with the house training as we thought best.. we did not crate her as we wanted our home to be her home (not sure if this was the right thing in hindsight..?) so she had the run of the house downstairs - we slowly got there and she understood that toilet was outside only -hurrah! There have been a few accidents over the months but not many ...However, during the past week she has started to wee/poo over night in the living room.. she knows it's wrong but still does it. We cordoned the area off where she tended to go and it seemed to work. Then yesterday we went shopping and she did 2 wees and then this morning we took her out and she did her business. We then went out for half an hour and she did a poo in the living room. So for 2 days running she has done her business during the day time in the house... we have no idea why she is doing it. Nothing has really changed - I work home so have always been with her. My husband has been working from home for the past 6 weeks.. nothing has changed over the past week to make her do this? Would appreciate any help and insights thank you x
