Re: Here's hoping.... great news, they are worry aren't they. in his very youthful days Brodick used to do that as well, if someone is trying to take something off you, swallow it was his motto...
Re: Here's hoping.... Hi I'm a bit late adding to this especially as Simba has returned the offending object thank goodness. I just thought I'd post this anyway for future reference. Awhile ago Scott swallowed a flat round squeaker out of a cuddly dog toy! Same old story rather than give it me thought he'd keep it safe in his tummy. Two and a half weeks!!! of worry later it reappeared from the other end whole, intact and would probably have still squeaked if I'd cared to try it !!! A couple of months later Scout did same thing with a chunk of hard plastic he'd found while I wasn't looking. That only took about 4 days to return the way it had gone in. Both times while the undigestable object was in their stomach they would vomit bile in the early hours. I don't know but I guessed that once the stomach was empty of digestable stuff bile was still produced because the undigestable object was still there. Just my theory. I thought I'd share this info even though Simba got rid of his ball quickly just in case anything similar should happen again. It won't stop the worry I know but even if it doesn't reappear within a few days there's still a chance it will. Jen
