Hello I've been reading this forum since we got our lab pup in September last year finally decided I would take the plunge and join... Our first Labrador, I've had dogs all my life but I must say ninn of them were quite like this! She's a firecracker, so full of energy and love too... Incredible dog, and alsoal huge handful... I've been having so much fun, but I also find myself needing to read lots of dog advice lol
A very warm welcome to the forum! I'm so pleased to hear you are having fun, 'firecracker' is a very good description for a lively Lab
Hello Sunnytee, It's nice to meet other Labrador Retriever guardians. I officially adopted my Labrador (Toby) August 2018 when he was 13 weeks old and my boyfriend and I were in the middle of a roadtrip. Toby is now 11 months old and I agree that the breed as youngsters are a handful. The breeds loyalty and companionship are unmatched. Toby is actually my second Labrador. I was introduced to the breed by my stepmother as a teen, she had previously owned 3 Labs. They are amazing family dogs because they play right along with kids. Our roommate has two daughters that come to visit every other week and he loves to interact and play with them as long as he can. I'm also new to this forum and I'm happy that I've finally decided to join to share with other Lab owners as well as seeking help and guidance in raising my dog.
Thank you for the warm welcomes. Labs are so much fun, never a dull moment will maybe when they are sleeping
