Hello everybody, My name is Cath and I live in Cheshire. I am the proud and loving owner of a Black Labrador called Fred. He is 13mths old and is the life and soul of our home. Will try and sort out some photos, but I am still having problems receiving email from you all. I don't always get an email saying someone has replied to me Does anyone know why? Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
I do apology I have only just notice you kind welcomes. I am still not get any emails from this site. I have put a photo, or should I say my OM has, of Fred on my avatar. I am looking forward to chatting to you all.

Hi Cath, we are all trying to work out the site too. If you press the +Subscribe button at the top of a post (or in fact a board) then you will get a message in your "Messages" box on the forum - you will get a red box showing how many messages you have at the top next to your sign in name. If you really really want emails to notify you of responses, you do this through settings (in the drop down menu next to your name at the top) You can then tick WHAT you want notifications about and whether you want emails, and how frequently. Hope that helps. Its all a bit trial and error though. I have emails OFF for notifications about replies to posts etc, but ON for Private Messages. That is my choice and makes sense to me but might not suit others. Let us know if you are still having problems
Many thanks I have done all you have told me, but still do not get any email notifications.Never mind I will use my message box. I even got my OM to take a look, but although I have the boxes ticked it still doesn't work. Thank you for all your help. Thanks Charlie and Hattie, hope to chat to you soon.
