My baby boy is 3yrs old he'll be 4 on May 11th he was rescued from a back yard with his 5 siblings had mange and parvo in 2015 he is mixed breed my vet thinks lab and pit. He just recently on Christmas eve had a grand mal and took him him a couple hours to be back to himself after. He stayed in the emergency vet for 13hrs Iwas a mess the whole time i was at work. He left there with no meds. So he had another grand mal on Feb 10th same thing fell off my bed paddling his legs violently foaming out of his mouth and peeing. He laid on the floor with my husband for about an hour. Then my husband finally let him get up but then he acts like he dont nowhere hes at or who we are. So another trip to the vet where they put him on zonisamide 100 mg twice daily. Then today he had another one i was sleeping and he was in the living room i didnt hear a thing till i seen the aftermath. So another trip to the vet this afternoon. She didnt want to put him on any more meds but she did give him a anxiety medication. She wants me to take him to a nuerologist so they can figure out what med will work best for him. Im so worried all i do is cry and hide from him i know thats bad and trying my hardest to work on that situation of running when bad things happen but ive been doing it for along time. And im working with my doctor also so i can be thete to gelp my baby durning these seizures. He also has severe allergies so he eats prescription diet hills z/d wet and dry. It works wonders no more bloody stools or throwing up or horrible gas lol. We came to that conclusion this past june at the internal medicine specialist. So everything is goid now this and interdigital cysts between his toes. Well any help will help or any input. Im about to go crazy with not knowing till I can get him to a nuerologist thank you everyone for listening to me vent❤❤
