Hey there, We are from so cal and we're getting our black lab puppy in two weeks! our breeder is local and amazing! we have been visiting our puppy weekly and fall more in love with him every time. this will be our first family dog. I grew up with parents who bred akitas. I love dogs. I took care of all our dogs growing up. my husband has never had a dog growing up. When we were dating he fell in love with our family black lab and instantly knew he wanted a black lab. We have been dog sitting for my parents dogs and brother's dog. It comes pretty natural to us now. but I'm a bit nervous. I haven't taken care of a puppy in a long time. We have been waiting for our puppy for over a year and now he's going to be home in less than two weeks! I'm excited to be here and get as much advice as possible from pros -Sunshine
