Hello all! After reading this forum and Pippa's book since getting my boy last year, I figured it's time for us to get involved. Diesel is an almost 7 month old black lab, from England, and is a absolute gem in my life! We had a bit of a rocky start at 8 weeks old because of the usual; thought I did enough research and knew what to expect but was actually pretty clueless, scenario. But after many home training sessions (thanks to the Labrador handbook/this forum), quiet downtime (Kong and Licki Mat deserve an award for the peace they've provided), countryside walks and land shark battles, Diesel is now turning into a delightful boy! We still have a way to go on his overexcited reactions to other dogs while out on walks, but he's a happy chappy and enjoys new friends!
