Re: Hi from Norway! Hi and welcome form me too. The parent dogs look wonderful. I'm sure you will get great enjoyment, companionship and attachment from your new puppy. Black working dog 4 1/2 years old here called Lady. Great fun to have around.
Re: Hi from Norway! Hi there and welcome! Looking forward to seeing your puppy. With such handsome parents he is bound to be gorgeous
Re: Hi from Norway! I was just thinking to myself about Norway. One of my hobbies is Geocaching - it is a "treasure hunt" style game using GPS - I know it is particularly popular in Germany, not sure if you are aware of it. I have a few "travelbugs", and the most active one is a black Lab tag which has recently visited Odda, and currently residing near Kristiansand. (if you think I may be descending into madness...just ignore me )
Re: Hi from Norway! Thank you Dexter, David and Pippa! drjs@5 : I know what Geocaching is. A couple of workers here at my office are into it. But i never tried it my self. Do you mean that i should collect for you?
Re: Hi from Norway! Ha ha Kimso! I was actually thinking about mushroom sniffing and treasure hunting which fired the association ;D I actually started doing it as a way to find interesting places to walk Lilly though and sometimes wish she could sniff out the more elusive ones Jac

Now I know what Geocaching is and have just spent 15 minutes finding out about travel bugs. https://www.geocaching.com/track/travelbugfaq.aspx My mouse moved all on its own to "join". I pulled back just in time but I can see it might be a lost cause... So tempted to try get a camel to Dubai and then Australia....
Re: Hi from Norway! I recently found a geocache hidden near a style, thought 'that's a nice little plastic box someone has thrown away, I'll take it home to put treats in'! I opened it up to find a little key ring, a coil of paper with lots of names, much green mould and a very faded piece of paper and I could just make out the word 'geocache' so I put it all back together and hid it again, but this time I made it more difficult to find by tucking it in the grass. Fortunately I had heard about geocache otherwise I would have taken it home :'( I did find it disappointing though, had imagined a bigger box.

[/quote] Green mould is not good The boxes vary a lot in size. A lot of the urban ones are tiny 1cm diameter magnetic cylinders hidden on railings and such like. The largest one I found was a large ammo can which was the size of 4 big shoe boxes. Most are average sandwich box size though camera film cannister are very popular too. Some caches are virtual and need a task completed or a photo submitted and Earth Caches are fascinating. I have found geocaching a wonderful way to find out about new areas when on holiday particularly. I think I have anorak tendencies ;D

Re: Hi from Norway! I'm going for a few hours of car ride today to see the puppy! Can't wait!!! Will try to take some pictures and put it here too
Re: Hi from Norway! Took some pictures with crappy lighting and cellphone camera. Can't wait to get him home!
Re: Hi from Norway! There were a total of 8 pups. 4 bitches and 4 males. We had decided to get a male. When we choose there was 2 males available. The one we choose was the smallest of the males, actually some of his sisters are still bigger than him. But he is a fighter. Even though he was the smallest he always found a way to get food from mommy, and managed quite well. Looks like a outgoing and friendly little pup, he was also chasing the 2x bigger cat around when we arrived, haha. I had him on my lap and he was quiet and sat still. He also already seem to come when we call him. Can't wait Havn't thought about any name yet, though the wify likes Nero.
