I was on the forum awhile back, then I got really busy. My 15 year old boy, Cap, died November 2016. We have a new boy now. We got him April, 2017. He is almost a year old. He is a handful. I guess you forget when you have a senior just how active puppies are. We are enjoying him though. There is so much valuable information on this site. I am very grateful for all the tips. I'm sure you will be hearing from me quite a bit.
Welcome back from me, Wispa (6) and Tuppence (4). I’m sorry to hear about Cap. Your new puppy must be keeping you very busy - it’s easy to forget how time-consuming young dogs are! What’s his name?
Hello, and welcome back, seems I've jumped on board while you've been gone. I have Cassie, who is 21 months. Your puppy looks adorable in your avatar.
Hehe, with only five posts to her name @capsmom might not have seen the forum rule that "if there are no photos, it didn't happen". It's not that we don't believe you have a puppy, but.... Although I now see that she has a photo in her avatar. But I think we need to see more just to make sure it's not a fluke.
Welcome from myself and Maxx who is 14 weeks old tomorrow. Handful doesn't begin to describe him; but we love him to pieces. As do our various 'pieces' (due to his chewing) of furniture, linen, plants etc etc.
Welcome @capsmom from me and Bowie from Melbourne Australia! @Maxx's Mum Has he started chewing electronic devices yet? like remote control, mobile phones, laptop - if not you're in luck
oh yes Master Bowie, the remotes are second only to shoes. He has learnt how to open the shoe cupboard and always goes for the same boot. It must smell really good!
In October, Huck chewed up two remotes controls, one house phone, my husband electric razor and ate the letterbox off my cell phone. I know labs and I thought I was keeping everything put up, but he has found a way to raise up on his back legs, jump and sweep with his front paw. He also has taken to "trimming" our bushes in the back yard. I hope they survive until spring.
Welcome to you and Hickmott from Mags, Tatze and Keir from Manchester UK Tatze is my pet dog, a black Lab and she's four years old. Tatze means 'paw' in German. Keir is my fifth Guide Dog puppy, a yellow Golden Retriever/Flatcoat cross and he's eight months old.
