Hi from Salisbury Wiltshire England

Hi & hello to everyone, from Howard,Lorraine & Evie also our lovely new puppy Daisy.We live in Salisbury Wilts ,England.
My wife over the years has always wanted a Labrador as she was brought up with them on a farm,but I was undecided as I've never owned a dog before,so this year after reading & gaining info we bought Daisy.Wow what a lovely little sweet thing she is.
We have many visitors,loads of children,she just loves the attention & play she gets with my daughter & Grandkids.
At ten weeks,she does her business outside,understands no, & with this site it has been a great help.
Serious side I am diabetic as my consultant said many years ago ,if you get a dog it will help to control your condition as both you & your dog need exercise,so looking forward to the many walks we will have.

Hi, and welcome to the forum from me and Holly (20 month yellow lab). Labs are great for exercise for us middle aged owners. Long country walks when they're fully grown, and chases around the garden at any age. Holly helps with the garden, relocating plant pots and digging holes just in case we want to plant something.

It's good that daisy is getting to meet lots of people. The more experience she has as a pup the better. Please do posts some pictures, we love our puppy pics on this forum.

I am also a Diabetic but the condition is kept under control by diet and lots of exercise , so hoping that this can help you too, good luck

Welcome so pleased a dog is helping your condition, they are fab aren't they

We went over to Salisbury plain the other day to train - what an amazing place I'm sure you'll have some wonderful doggy adventures round there ;D

Welcome, I know you will enjoy the forum. Many years ago my husband did some work with the military near Salisbury and I went down with him and saw the signs "Sarum", when our daughter was born we called her Sara after Sarum.
