After losing our 2 Labs last year we wondered what life would be like without a dog in the home. We soon realized that this was not going to be possible, we tracked down the breeder of our previous Labs, and Bella arrived in December last year. What a joy she is to us. I have been reading the articles on this site and found them to be great, decided to introduce ourselves. Bella, or more formally Ailsacraig Ciao Bella, is now 9 months old and is a well established member of the family. Jean and Martin Urry
Re: Hi from South Africa Hi and welcome to the forum! Great to hear that you have Bella in your life. How lovely that you could get a puppy from the same breeder who gave you your two previous and much loved furry family members .
Re: Hi from South Africa Hi from me and Molly, who is also 9 months old. The house feels so empty without a dog doesn't it?

Re: Hi from South Africa Hello and welcome to the forum! Bella is lovely - great kennel name too! Not that I am biased towards the Scottish element or anything So glad she has brought your home back into balance. jac, and 4 yr old Lilly
Re: Hi from South Africa Welcome. What a very pretty girl she is, her name definitely suits her, she must bring you a great amount of joy to ease the pain of loss from your previous two Labs.
Re: Hi from South Africa Welcome! Glad you found us....Bella is living up to her name, for sure! Lisa and Simba (2 yrs old LabX).... Currently unthawing after a looong Canadian winter....
Re: Hi from South Africa Thanks all for your welcomes, we agree that Bella is gorgeous and certainly lives up to her name, but then we are biased We live in Johannesburg, South Africa, just going into winter now, had out first nighttime below zero temperatures. Labs are very popular here, Bella is from a farm in the Orange Free State, about a 2 1/2 hour drive from here. We had to book her well in advance, the response to our first enquiries was that the litters were all taken. We take her to a park nearby and there are always some Labs romping about, she has a great time with them. Martin & Jean
