I have a new addition to the family.. a 3 1/2 month Black Lab.. Bought it for my son and our family.. he is 19 and really wanted a Dog.. We are co parenting.. He is has definitely stepped up to the plate as a young college student with all the responsibilities.. We have already been training him since the moment we got him.. Alot of challenges but trying to stay on top of things with consistency and patience.. One of the situations is our morning routine.. Love some advice on how this process should go or look like.. Playing at 530am in the back yard with running and fetching as been the routine.. But makes life a bit more stressful to start the day... he has loads of energy and dont want to deprive him of his youth and what he needs.. Thank God for my Son who gets up with him also and occupies him.. But not sure if this is a good thing.. Him learning to just be on his own until we are ready I think is much better for us and the future.. But he is a puppy and we are fine with running and walking him daily.. even twice a day is our norm.. Any suggestions would be helpful .. Thank you for your time.

Hi Denise, I'm afraid I can't pretend I know the answer to this, but I just wanted to say "hi" and welcome you to the forum! Hello! You'll find lots of support from dog owners who have been in the same boat here :)
