I just wanted to introduce myself
I'm Fran and yesterday I became a lab mum for the first time
Murphy is 9 weeks old and so far she has been an absolute dream
She has had good recall in the garden, not much accidents in the house and cuddled up just fine
She seems to have a penchant for slippers though as she stole one of mine when I sat down, and relocated it in the garden.
All in all, so far so good

Hi from Holly and me in Monmouth. I love your picture - Murphy looks so sensible!

It sounds like Murphy has got off to a really good start. Relocating slippers is not such a bad thing. Holly fetches mine whenever I come home, so perhaps you can turn it into a game?

Hi and welcome from me and 2.5 year old fox red girl, Harley. Murphy looks adoreable. Is she your first lab?

Welcome from me and great big yellow Pongo!
Murphy can swap slipper stories with Holly - she is the forum queen of slipper-dom. @Hollysdad has already said hello...

    hi

Yes Murphy is my first lab, she is doing really well. I had a jrt called Billy for 15 1/2 years, he went over the rainbow bridge in Feb. I didn't think I could cope with another dog, but I'm glad I have decided to take the plunge. My heart has started to heal already

I've worked really hard with her already, I didn't want to make the same mistakes with her that I did with billy, I'm more experienced this time round
