Just thought I'd say hi as I've just joined the forum. I was brought up with dogs at my parents house, then had a long spell when our kids came along when I didn't have a dog. About 20 years ago as the kids grew up my wife and I heard of Zack, an unwanted show labrador of 5 months, went to see him and bought him. We had 13 years with him until he died of old age. Six months later we welcomed Ben an 8 week old fox red working lab puppy. Sadly he died of osteosarcoma at 6½ in early August 2022. We were devastated. Then, two weeks ago, we came across an advert for the last remaining puppy of a litter of nine working lab stock. He was 11 weeks old and very small but has a really sunny outlook on life so we bought him. We've called him Finn.
