We are off to Hay on Wye for a week with Mabel on Friday. She's not fit enough to do large circular walks. I wondered if there were places we could visit where she can have a potter about and a good sniff preferably involving water. Also any good dog friendly pubs would be great. Thanks Claire
Symonds Yat isn't too far from Hay. Starting at the pubs there are easy, flat, walks along the river. Its possible to get to the water at many points for a swim, just take care to go for the smooth bits and not the rapids!
